Hello,

This is a slightly more personal post than usual, so I hope you don't mind me sharing.

Today is my wedding anniversary. Four years ago today I married a man I still think is pretty much the best human I know.

We had a wonderful day, full of love and laughter, wine and dancing and a midnight snack of cake and bacon sandwiches... pretty much in that order!

I remember a certain moment really clearly. A moment of calm, of peace while all the guests went through to sit down for dinner, of a minute for just the two of us in the whirlwind of the day, of sitting down in my big dress, next to my new husband/old boyfriend in his cool suit and not being able to stop smiling, even though my cheeks hurt from all the other smiles of the day.

Anyway, it's lovely to bask in the memories of a beautiful (rainy) day shared with our beautiful family and friends. Four years on and I don't feel much different as a wife than I did as a girlfriend, but I love that we made that big commitment and that everyone we love shared it with us. And that we still haven't stopped smiling.
