Looking for some inspiration for your home? I am a huge fan of creating moodboards and picking out trends, colours, individual items and overall looks from magazines. However, while interiors magazines are certainly inspiring, it can be tricky to see how you can translate their gorgeous aspirational looks to a small room, tiny flat, bijou terrace etc.

Luckily there is a fantastic blog called Apartment Therapy which is running a Small Cool contest to find the best mini-spaces, and it's chock-full of real-life inspiration. So, if your home is more "studio flat" than "double height architect designed mansion", then this is a great place to source ideas, tips and see how to make the most of a smaller space.
