I'm a big fan of herringbone patterns in interiors and will seek to include them wherever I can... fabrics, art prints, flooring and more. This, though, is the first time I've seen one used on the walls... and I love it!

I love the use of natural materials and colours here and how it is combined with the rough textured concrete wall. The look brings together utilitarian and industrial style with some natural elements. I would finish it off with a few shiny bits and pieces, or some bright pops of colour. I love the tones used here, but if they had a gorgeous copper light fitting or a bold mustard yellow throw it would come alive that bit more in my opinion. I can see the appeal of these calming neutrals, but I definitely err on the side of maximal over minimal, so I'd choose extra colours all the way!
