Pallet Ideas
I love the idea of upcycling, recycling, repurposing... whatever you call it, making something out of nothing is a great idea.
With that in mind when I spotted a bench made from an old pallet recently it started me on a search for other great projects you can do with a simple wooden pallet. So, here's a round up of some of the best & most interesting ideas I found:

The bench made from old pallets - this is a great way to add extra seating in your garden. I tried to snap it from an angle which showed the construction, so hopefully you can give this a go!

Pallet hooks - image via Georgie Pearl Designs on etsy - aso only ships to the States, so if you're interested in giving this pallet upcycling DIY a try then you need to collect some pretty door knobs, choose your paint and get creating!

A pallet bed is a neat idea and can go from something as basic & functional as this one, to an all-singing, all-dancing number with built in lights, bedside tables, storage and more... like below:

Pallet recycling bin pinned by Cory Spain on pinterest. A neat idea and could also work well for laundry.

For the adventurous, or just for those of you who are better with a hammer than I am... a pallet teepee! (image from 1001pallets)

And another garden idea... a pallet swing! (image from Dumpaday.com)

Or use your old pallet to do something simple - clean it, remove nails, treat it and voila... you've got a garden path! (Image from Funky Junk Interiors)

This neat idea needs absolutely no DIY skills - just pop your plants in and away you go. Instant height in your garden, ideal for those who are renting or only have a small space.
So there's a quick round up of some nifty ways to use a pallet. I've also seen pallet "hammock" beds, some pallet shelving, pallet hallway consoles and more. It's a small thing with a million uses if you put your mind to it! Have you ever upcycled a pallet? What did you do?
Thanks
Becky
