Geometry
I've got a confession to make... Geometry was not my friend when I was at school. I used to spend hours daydreaming about vintage dresses and parties, instead of listening to the kind person patiently trying to explain Pythagoras' Theorem to me. So to Mr Hall, I apologise. I might be a few years late, but I've finally succumbed to the delights of geometry... in interiors at least:
First up, a few angular delights have found their way into our store (scroll further to see more triangular treats, inspiring geometric interiors, craft ideas and more!):
Remix blue geometric-repeat wallpaper
Boxes multi-coloured print from UK artist
Two of our new collection of footstools handmade in Scotland with contemporary graphic designs.
Now, here are a few more geometric finds from around the internet, all gathered together for you to peruse:
Gold chevron tray
Love the diamond on this illustration, along with the colour choices
Painting by Nottingham artist Amy Blackwell
Great masculine look putting geometric colourful bedding with charcoal walls - from the Apartment Therapy website
I would like every cupboard in my home to have this interior!
Fabulous Rainbow rug by Sonya Winner
Striking contemporary quilt from Urban Outfitters.
A wonderful way to improve a bland building exterior, multi-coloured geometric shadows
Finally a wonderful piece of inspiration from the Sparky & Marie website showing a great, easy take on the geometric trend... a gorgeous garland which you could get crafty and make yourself.
I think that as well as the bold shapes used in the geomteric trend, what I love is that it is often combined with a strong, saturated colour palette which really speaks to me.
Hope you've enjoyed this triangular trip through great geometric goodies!
Becky
