I came across an image on Pinterest recently which really caught my eye.

This bright light hallway filled with colourful rugs has such a relaxed, happy vibe that I immediately want to recreate it. I think it offers a great balance of elegance and vitality, colour and calm. Keeping the pattern low, mixing it up and leaving no gaps between the rugs draws the eye down the hallway and helps it to look light and large. The mix of patterns and colour is playful without being overwhelming and bohemian without getting too hippie. Plus, because they are rugs this is a look you could recreate anywhere and can move around as you see fit.
