Midwinter Vintage Plate - Cannes pattern

Hugh Casson is the designer behind some of the most sought-after Midwinter pottery, like this small side plate. This item is part of the Cannes range, designed by Casson in 1954 and put into production in 1960 as part of the Midwinter Fashion shape collection.

The plate shows a hand drawn sketch of a French cafe and is a delightful collectable piece of vintage mid-century pottery. Please note the small mark in the top left hand corner (see pictures).
